Chapter 26

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!how can you disobey Me, when you cannot even resist the hot sun of the desert. And indeed, for Hell, there are seven levels in which there are Fires which devour each other. In each level of Hell, there are seventy thousand valleys of Fire. In each valley of Fire, there are seventy thousand sections of Fire. In each section of Fire, there are seventy thousand cities of Fire. In each city of Fire, there are seventy thousand castles of Fire. In each castle of Fire, there are seventy thousand houses of Fire. In each house of Fire, there are seventy thousand rooms of Fire. In each room of Fire, there are seventy thousand wells of firs. In each well of Fire, there are seventy thousand chests of Fire. In each chest of Fire, seventy thousand trees ofZaqqum (a bitter and pungent treesicribed as growing at the bottom of Hell. Under each tree ofZaqqum , there are seventy thousand nails of Fire. With each nail, there are seventy thousand chains of Fire. And in each chain, there are seventy thousand serpents of Fire. And the length of each serpent is seventy thousand yards. And in the stomach of each serpent there is an ocean of black poison, in which there are seventy thousand scorpion of Fire. And in each scorpion has seventy thousand tails of Fire. And the length of each tail is seventy thousandvertebras( each segment of backbone). And in each vertebra there are seventy thousandRatls (eachRatl =449.28gramme ) of red poison. I swear by self, “by mount Sinai, And by the written Book, By an outstretched fine parchment, By the House (Ka’ba ) that is visited, By the elevated canopy, By the swollen sea; O, Son of Adam! I have not created this Hell Fire but for all the unbelievers, and the for the miser, and for the gossiper, and forA’aq ( disinherited by the father) from father, and for the preventer ofZakat (alms), and for the eater ofRiba (interest), and for theZani (adulterer), and for the collector ofHaram (unlawful), and for the one whoforgive’s the Qur’an, and for the bad neighbor. Except those who do repentance (Tawba ), and acts upon good. O, My servants!have mercy upon your selves!indeed your bodies are weak, and the way is far, and the burden is heavy, and the path is thin, and the Fire is high, and the caller isIsrafeel , and the Judge is the Lord of the universe.

الحديث السابع والعشرون‏

يَا أيُّهَا النَّاسُ!! كَيْفَ رَغِبْتُمْ وَ رَضِيْتُمْ في الدُّنْيَا فَإنَّهَا فَانِيَا وَنَعِيْمُهَا زَائِلَةٌ وَ حَيَاتُهَا مُنْقَطِعَةٌ فَإنَّ عِنْدِي لِلْمُطِيْعِيْنَ الْجِنَانَ بِأَبْوَابِهَا الثَّمانِيَةِ في كُلِّ جَنَّةِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ رَوْضَةِ مِنَ الزَّعْفَرَانِ، وَ كُلّ رَوْضَةٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَدِينَةٍ مِنَ اللُّؤلُوء والْمَرجَانِ، وَ في كُلِّ مَدِينَة سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ قَصْرٍ مِنَ اليَاقُوتِ، وَ في كُلّ قَصرٍ سَبْعُونَ ألْفَ دَارِ مِنَ الزَّبَرْجدِ، وَ في كُلِّ دَارِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ بَيْتِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ، وَ في كُلِّ بَيْتٍ سَبْعُؤنَ أَلْفَ دُكَّانٍ مِنَ الفِضَّةِ، وَ في كُلِّ دُكَّانِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَائِدَةٍ وَ عَلى كُلِّ مَائِدَةٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ صَبْحَةٍ مِنَ الْجَوْهَرِ، وَ في كُلِّ صَفْحَةٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ لَوْنِ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ، وَ عَلى حَوْلِ كُلِّ دُكَّانٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلّفَ سَرِيرٍ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ الأَحْمَرِ، وَعَلى كُلِّ سَرِيرٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ فِرَاشٍ مِنَ الْحَرِيرِ وَ الدِّيْبَاجِ وَالإسْتَبْرَقِ، وَ عَلى حَوْلِ كُلِّ سَرِيرٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ نَهْرٍ مِنْ مَاءِ الْحَيَوَانِ واللَّبَنِ والْخَمْرِ والْعَسَلِ الْمُصَفَّى، وَ في كُلِّ نَهْرِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ لَوْنِ مِنَ الثَّمَارِ وَ كَذَلِكَ في كُلِّ بَيتٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ خَيْمَةٍ مِنَ الأَرْغَوَانِ، وَفي كُلِّ خَيْمَةٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ فِرَاشٍ، وَعَلى كُلِّ فِرَاشٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ حَوْرَاء مِنَ الْحُوْرِ العِيْنِ بَيْنَ يَدَيها سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ وَصِيْفَةِ كَأنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ، وَ عَلى رَأْسِ كُلِّ قَصْرٍ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْقُصُورِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ قُبَّةِ مِنَ الْكَافُورِ، وَ في كُلِّ قُبَّةٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ هَدِيَّةٍ مِنَ الرَّحمنِ الَّتي لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَ لَا أذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَ لَا خَطَرَ عَلى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِمَّا يَتَخَيرُونَ وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ وَ حُورٌ عِيْنٌ كَأمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُوءِ الْمَكْنُونِ جَزَاءَ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ وَ لَا يَمُوتُونَ وَ لَا يَبْكُونَ وَ لَا يَحْزَنُونَ وَ لَا يَهْرَمُونَ وَ لَا يَتَعَبَّدُونَ وَ لَا يَصُومُونَ وَ لَا يُصَلُّونَ وَ لَا يَمْرَضُونَ وَ لَا يَُولُونَ وَ لَا يَتَغَوَّطُونَ وَ لَا يَنْمُونَ وَ لَا يَمَسَّهُمْ فِيْهَا نَصَبٌ وَ مَا هُمْ مِنْهَا بِمُخْزَجِيْنَ، فَمَنْ طَلَبَ رِضَائِي وَ دَارَ كَرَامَتِي وَ جَوارِي فَلْيَطْلُبَها بِالصَّدَقَةِ والاستِهَانَةِ بِالدُّنْيَا وَالْقَنَاعَةِ بِالقَلِيْلِ شَهِدت نَفْسِي أنْ لَا إِلهَ إلَّا أَنَا وَ عِيْسَ وَ عُزَيْرٌ عَبْدَانِ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَ رَسُولَانِ مِنْ رُسُلِي

Chapter 27

Almighty Allah says:

O,You people!how could you be pleased with, and attached with this world? Indeed it is perishable, and its sustenanceare disappear, and its life is going to be cut short. Thus indeed for the fromMe for the followers there is Heavens which has eight gates. And in each Heaven, there are seventy thousand gardens ofSophorine . In each garden, there are seventy thousand cities of pearls, both large and small. In each city, there are seventy thousand palaces of Ruby. In each palace, there are seventy thousand rooms made of gold. In each room, there are seventy thousand stages made of silver. In each stage, there are seventy thousand tables. On each table, there are seventy thousand plates of jewels. In each plate, there are seventy thousand kinds of food. Around each stage, there are seventy thousand thrones of red gold. And on each throne, there are seventy thousand carpets made of silk and thick silk brocade. Around each throne, there are seventy thousand rivers flow with life water, wine, and pure honey.In each river, there seventy thousand kinds of fruits. In the same manner, in each room, there seventy thousand purple tents. In each tent there are seventy thousand carpets. On each carpet, there seventy thousandHuris ( female angles) with big eyes. With them there are seventy thousand mates as if they were eggs carefully protected. And on top of each palace there are seventy thousand domes of camphor. In each dome there are seventy thousand gifts from the Merciful, which hasn’t been seen by any eyes, heard by any ears and no human being could think of it. And there shall be fruits what they like, and meet of birds what they like to eat. There shall beHuris , the like of the hidden pearls. A reward for what they used to do,( 56:23-24). There shall be no death, no crying and no grief, not going to be get old, no worship and prayer, no fasting no sickness, no urinating, no stool shall come, no growth, never going get afraid, andno body is going to take them out. Thus the one who seeks My pleasure, seeks My house Generosity and My neighbor, then he should seek these by givingSadaqa (alms), by un pleasing this world, and by contentment with little. I bear witness of self for self, there is no god butMe , andEsa (Jesus) andUzair (Ezra) are My two servants among My servants, and two prophets among My prophets.

الحديث الثامن والعشرون‏

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! اَلْمَالُ مَالِي وَ أَنْتَ عَبْدِي وَ مَالَكَ إِلَّا مَا أَكَلْتَ فَأَفْنَيْتَ وَ مَا لَبِسْتَ فَأَبْلَيْتَ وَ مَا تَصَدَّقْتَ فَأبْقَيْتَ وَ مَا ذَخَرْتَ فَحَظكَ مِنْهُ الْمقتُ وَ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ عَلى ثَلَاثَةِ أَقْسَامِ فَوَاحِدٌ لي وَ وَاحِدٌ لَكَ ذَخَرْتَ فَحَظكَ مِنْهُ الْمقتُ وَ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ عَلى ثَلاثَةِ أَقْسَامٍ فَوَاحِدٌ لي وَ وَاحِدٌ لَكَ وَ وَاحِدٌ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي لي فَرُوحُكَ وَ أَمَّا الَّذِي لَكَ فَعَمَلُكَ وَ أَمَّا الَّذِي بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ فَمِنْكَ الدُّعَاءُ وَ مِنِّي الإجَابَةُ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! تَوَرَّعْ تَعْرِفْنِي وَ تَجَوَّعْ تَرَني وَاعْبُدنِي تَجِدْنِي وَ تَفَرَّدْ تَصِلْني. يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إذا كانَتِ الْمُلُوكُ تَدْخُلُ النَّارَ بِالْجَوْرِ وَالْعَرَبُ بِالْعَصَبِيَّةِ وَ الْعلَمَاءُ بِالْحَسَدِ وَالْفُقَراءُ بِالْكِذْبِ وَ التُّجّارُ بِالْخِيَانَةِ وَ الْحُرَّاثُ بِالْجَهَالَةِ وَ الْعُبَّادُ بِالرِّيَاءِ وَ الْأَغْنِيَاءُ بِالْكِبْرِ وَ القُرِّاءُ بِالْغَفْلَةِ وَ الصُبَّاغُ بِالْغشِّ وَ مَانِعُ الزَّكاةِ بِمَنْعِ الزَّكاةِ فَأَيْنَ مَنْ يَطْلُبُ الْجَنَّةَ

Chapter 28

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!the wealth is Mine and you are My servant. Nothing is yours except what you eat and finish and what you wear and turn it into rags.What ever charity you give, you make it eternal. Whatever you gather does not benefit you and it becomes worthless. Indeed, you are divided into three parts: One part is forMe , one part is for you and the last part is between you and Me. The one which is forMe is your soul. The other one which is for you areyourdeeds , the third part which is between you andMe is supplications on your part and acceptance on My part. O, Son of Adam!be humble so that you can know Me. Stay hungry so that you can see Me. Pray to me so that you can find Me. Be alone so that you can reach Me. O, Son of Adam! a king is thrown into Hell because of his oppression, an Arab because of his pride of being an Arab, a scholar because of his jealousy, the poor because of his lies, businessmen because of their treachery, farmer because of their ignorance, worshipers because of their showing off, wealthy people because of their pride indigent because of their carelessness, dyers because of their fraud,preventor ofZakat because of their prevention. Then where are the seekers ofJannat (Heaven)?

الحديث التاسع والعشرون‏

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَ لاَ تَمُوتُنَّ إلَّا وَ أَنْتُمْ مُسلِمُونَ

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! مَثَلْ الْعَمَلِ بِلاَ عِلْمٍ كَمَثَلِ الرَّعْدِ بِلاَ مَطَرٍ وَ مَثَلُ الْعِلْمِ بِلاَ عَمَلٍ كَمَثَلِ الشَّجَرِ بِلاَ ثَمَرٍ وَ مَثَلُ الْعِلْمِ بِلاَ زُهْدٍ وَ خَشْيَةٍ كَالْمَالِ بِلاَ زَكاةٍ وَالطَّعَامِ بِلاَ مِلْحٍ وَ كَزَرْعٍ عَلى الصَّفَا وَ مَثَلُ الْعِلْمِ عِنْدَ الْأَحْمَقِ كَمَثَلِ الدُّرّ وَ الْيَاقُوتِ عِنْدَ البَهِيْمَةِ وَ مَثَلُ القُلُوبِ القَاسِيَةِ كَمَثَلِ الْحَجَرِ الثَّابِتِ في الْمَاءِ وَ مَثَلُ الْمَوْعِظَةِ عِنْدَ مَنْ لاَ يَرْغَبُ فِيهَا كَمَثَلِ الْمِزْمَارِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْقُبُورِ وَ مَثَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَرامِ كَمَثَلِ مَنْ يَغْسِلُ الْعَذَرَةِ بِبَوْلِهِ وَ مَثَلُ الصَّلَاةِ بِلاَ زَكاةِ الْمَالِ كَمَثَلِ الْجَسَدِ بِلاَ رُوحٍ وَ مَثَلُ الْعَمَلِ بِلاَ تَوْبَةِ كَمَثَلِ البُنْيَانِ بِلاَ أسَاسٍ أَفَأمِنُوا مَكْرَ اللَّهِ فَلاَ يَأمَنُ مَكْرَ اللَّهِ إلَّا القَوْمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

Chapter 29

Almighty Allah says:

O, You who believe!be careful of (your duty to) Allah with the care which is due to Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims (3:102) O, Son of Adam!the parable of deeds without knowledge is like thunder without rain. Knowledge without practice is like tree without fruit. Knowledge without piety and humbleness (Zuhd Wa Khusho’u ) is like wealth withoutZakat (alms), food without salt and like cultivation on rocks. Parable of knowledge in the eyes of the insane is like pearls and rubies in the eyes of animals. The example of hardened heart is like a solid stone in water. Givingadvise to a person who is not willing to listen is like whistling in front of graves. GivingSadqa ( alms) fromHaram wealth is like washing feces with urine. Prayer withoutZakat is like body without soul. Deeds withoutTawba ( repentance) is like building without foundation. What!do they feel secure from Allah’s plans? But none feels secure from Allah’s plan except the people who shall perish (7:99).

الحديث الثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! بِقَدْرِ مَا يَمِيْلُ قَلْبُكَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا أُخْرِجُ مَحَبَّتِي عَنْ قَلْبِكَ فَأنِّي لاَ أَجْمَعُ حُبِّي وَ حُبَّ الدُّنْيا في قَلْبٍ وَاحِدٍ أَبَداً تَجَرَّدْ لِعِبَادَتِي وَ أَخْلِصْ مِنَ الرِّيَاءِ عَمَلَكَ حَتَّى ألْبِسَكَ لِبَاسَ مَحَبَّتِي أَقْبِلْ إِلَىَّ وَ تَفَرَّغْ لِذِكْرِي أَذْكُرْكَ عِنْدَ مَلاَئِكَتِي، يَا بْنَ آدَمَ أذْكُرْني تَذَلُّلا أَذْكُرْكَ تَفَضُّلاً أذْكُرْني بِمُجَاهَدَةٍ اذْكُرْكَ بِمُشَاهَدَةٍ اذْكُرْني في فَوْقِ الأَرْضِ أَذْكُرْكَ تَحْتَ الأَرْضِ اذْكُرْنِي في النِّعْمَةِ وَ الصِّحَّةِ أَذْكُرْكَ في الشِّدَّةِ وَ الْوَحْدَةِ أذْكُرْني بِالطَّاعَةِ أذْكُرْكَ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ أذْكُرني في الصِّحَّةِ وَ الْغِنَاءِ أَذْكُرْكَ في الْفَقْرِ وَ الْغِنَاءِ أذْكُرْني بِالصِّدْقِ وَ الصَّفَاءِ أَذْكُرْكَ بِالْمَلإ الأعْلَى اذْكُرْني بِالْإِحْسَانِ إلَى الفُقَراء أَذْكُرْني بِالتَّضَرُّعِ أَذْكُرْكَ أذْكُرْني بِالْعُبُودِيَّةِ أَذْكُرْكَ بِالرُّبُوبِيَّةِ أُذْكُرْني بِالتَّضَرُّعِ أَذْكُرْكَ بِالتَّكَرُّمِ أُذْكُرْني بِالتَّلَفظِ أَذْكُرْكَ بِالتَّلَطفِ اذْكُرْني بِتَرْكِ الدُّنْيَا أَذْكُرْكَ بِنَعِيْمِ الْبَقَاءِ اذْكُرْني في الشِّدَّةِ الْهَالِكَةِ أَذْكُرْكَ بِالنَّجَاةِ الْكَامِلَةِ

Chapter 30

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!as much as your heart desires towards this world that much My love gets away from your heart. Indeed, I will not letMy love and love of this world gather in one heart. Be alone forMy prayers.Purify your deeds from showing-off then I will make you wear the clothes of My love. Turn towards me and be ready forMy remembrance, I will remember you in front of My angles. O, Son of Adam!remember Me with humbleness, I will remember you with My blessings. RememberMe by fighting with your soul, I will remember you by watching. RememberMe on the earth, I will remember you in the grave. RememberMe in bounties and in good health, I will remember you in difficulties and loneliness. RememberMe in good health and wealth, I will remember you in your poverty and hardship. RememberMe with truth and purity, I will remember you in exalted Heaven. RememberMe by being kind towards poor people, I will remember you in Heaven, the place to be resorted to. RememberMe by submission, I will remember you with divinity. RememberMe by crying, I will remember you with mercy. RememberMe with words, I will remember you with rewards. RememberMe by abandoning this world, I will remember you by giving you salvation of the Hereafter. RememberMe in your extreme difficulties, I will remember you with perfect salvation.

الحديث الحادي والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! أُذْكُرْنِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ؛ ادْعُونِي بِلاَ غَفْلَةٍ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ بِلاَ مُهْلَةٍ، أُدْعُونِي بِالْقُلُوبِ الْخَالِيَةِ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ بِالدَّرَجَاتِ العَالِيَةِ، أُدْعُونِي بِالْإِخْلاَصِ وَ التَّقْوَى أَسْتَجِبْ بِالْجَنَّةِ الْمَأْوَى، أُدْعونِي بِالْخَوْفِ وَ الرَّجَاءِ أَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ فَرَجاً وَ مَْخرَجاً، ادْعُونِي بِالْأَسْمَاءِ الْعُلْيَا أَسْتَحِبْ لَكُمْ بِبُلُوغِ الْمَطَالِبِ الْأَسْنَاءِ، أُدْعُونِي فِي دَارِ الْخَرَابِ وَ الْفَنَاءِ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ فِي دَارِ الثَّوابِ وَ البَقَاءِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! كَمْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُ اللَّهُ وَ فِي قَلْبِكَ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ وَ لِسَانُكَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ وَ تَخَافُ غَيْرَ اللَّهِ وَ تَرْجُو غَيْرَ اللَّهِ وَ لَوْ عَرَفْتَ اللَّهَ لَما أَهَمَّكَ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ وَ تُذْنِبُ وَ لاَ تَسْتَغْفِرُ فَأنَّ الاِسْتِغْفَارَ مَعَ الْإصْرَارِ تَوْبَةُ الكَاذِبيْنَ وَ مَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّام لِلْعَبِيْدِ

Chapter 31

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam! Remember Me, I will answer you. Call uponMe without carelessness, I will answer you without any delay. Call uponMe with empty heart, I will answer you by promoting you to higher rank. Call uponMe with purity and piety, I will answer you by presenting the Heaven, the place to be resorted to. Call uponMe with fear and hope, I will make all your affairs easy and successful. Call upon Me by My HighNames, I will meet your high demands. Call uponMe in this perishable and vanishing house, I will answer you in the house of reward and eternity. O, Son of Adam! how long are you going to say Allah, Allah, while you have (others)besides Allah in yourheart.Your tongue is remembering Allah, but you fear besides (others) Allah and you have in (others) besidesAllah.If you would have known Allah you would not have given importance toany thing besidesAllah.You commit sins and you don’t seek pardon from Allah? Indeed, seeking pardon and constantly sinning (at the same time) is the repentance of liars (Tawbatul Kazibin ), Allah is not unjust to hisservants( 41:46).

الحديث الثانى والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! أَجَلُكَ يَضْحَكُ بِأَمَلِكَ وَ قَضَائِي يَضْحَكُ مِنْ حَذَرِكَ وَ تَقْدِيرِي يَضْحَكُ مِنْ تَدْبِيْرِكَ وَ آخِرَتِي تَضْحَكُ مِنْ دُنْيَاكَ وَ قِسْمَتِي تَضْحَكُ مِنْ حِرْصِكَ فَإنَّ رِزْقَكَ مَوْزُونٌ مَعْرُوفٌ مَكْتُوبٌ مَخْزُونٌ؛ فَبَادِرْ لِلْمَوْتِ بِعَمَلِكَ الْخَيْرَ قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ فَإنَّ رِزْقَكَ لاَ يَأْكُلُهُ غَيْرُكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا (الآيَة ).

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! الدُّنْيَا مُرُّ عَلى أَوْلِيَائِي لَكِنْ يُحِبُّونَ لِقَائِي وَ حُلْوٌ لِأَعْدَائِي وَ لَكِنْ يَكْرَهُونَ لِقَائِي

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! المَوتُ نَازِلٌ بِكَ وَ إنْ كَرِهْتَ وَ اصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإنَّكَ مَبْعُوثٌ فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِيْنَ تَقُومُ وَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَ إدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ

Chapter 32

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!your death is laughing at yourdesires.My decree is laughing at your death. Mydestiny( Taqdeer ) is laughing at your plans(Tadbeer ). My Hereafter is laughing at you world. My fortune is laughing at your greed. Indeed, your sustenance are known and measured, written and treasured. Therefore, rush towards death with your good deeds before death overtakes you, because nobody is going to eat up (your sustenance). We havedistribute among them their livelihood in the life of this world. And We have exalted some of them above others in degrees, that some of them may take others in subjection; and the mercy of your Lord is better than what theyamass( 43:42). O, Son of Adam!death is going to befall upon you even if you dislike it. Have patience on your Lord’s commands, becauseyour are indeed going to be raised. Then declare the glory of your Lord and praise Him while you are awake at night and declare glory of Him at the time when the stars disappear.

الحديث الثالث والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! تُرِيدُ وَ أُرِيدُ وَ لاَ يَكُونُ إلَّا مَا أُرِيدُ فَمَنْ قَصَدَنِي عَرَفَنِي وَ مَنْ عَرَفَني أَرَادَنِي وَ مَنْ أَرَادَنِي طَلَبَنِي وَ مَنْ طَلَبَنِي وَجَدَنِي‏ وَ مَنْ وَجَدَنِي خَدَمَنِي وَ مَنْ خَدَمَني ذَكَرَنِي وَ مَنْ ذَكَرَني ذَكَرْتُهُ بِرَحْمَتِي

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! لا يَخْلُصُ عَمَلُكَ حَتَّى تَذُوقَ أَرْبَعَ مَوتَاتٍ: الْمَوتَ الْأَحمَرَ وَ الْمَوتَ الْأَصْفَرَ وَ الْمَوتُ الْأَسْوَدُ وَ الْمَوتَ الْأَبْيَضَ: أَلْموتُ الْأَحْمَرُ احتمالُ الْجَفَاءِ وَ كَفُّ الْأَذَى وَ الْمَوتُ الْأَصْفَرُ الْجُوعُ وَ الْإِعْسَارُ وَ الْمَوتُ الْأَسْوَدُ مُخَالِفَةُ النَّفْسِ وَ الْهَوَى فَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللَّهِ وَ الْمَوتُ الْأَبْيَضُ الْعُزْلَةُ

Chapter 33

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!you devise plans and I devise plans, but nothing happens except what I plan. The one, who tries to reachMe , knows Me. The one, who knowsMe , wants Me. The one, who wantsMe , seeks Me. The one, who seeksMe , finds Me. The one, who findsMe , serves Me. The one, who servesMe , remembers Me. The one, who remembers Me, I remember him with My Mercy. O, Son of Adam! Your deeds are not going to be purified unless you taste four kinds of death: Red death, Yellow death, Blackdeath , White death. Red death is tolerance of calamities and abstaining from harming others. Yellow death is hunger and hardships. Blackdeath is to disobey the desires of your ego. Therefore, do not obey your evildesires, otherwise they will take you away from the path of Allah. White death is seeking to be hermit (Uzlat ).

الحديث الرابع والثلاثون‏

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! مَلَائِكَتِي يَتَعَاقَبُونَ بِالَّليْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ لِيَكْتُبُوا عَلَيْكَ مَا تَقُولُ وَ تَفْعَلُ مِنْ قَلِيْلِكَ وَ كَثِيْرِكَ، فَالسَّمَاءُ تَشْهَدُ بِما رَأَتْ مِنْكَ الأَرْضُ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْكَ بِما عَمِلْتَ عَلى ظَهْرِهَا وَ الشَّمْسُ وَ الْقَمَرُ وَ النُّجُومُ يشهَدْنَ عَلَيْكَ بِما تَقُولُ وَ تَفْعَلُ وَ أَنَا مُطَّلِعٌ عَلى مَخْفِيَّاتِ خَطَرَاتِ قلْبِكَ وَ لاَ تَغْفَلْ عَنْ نَفْسِكَ فَإنَّ لَكَ في الْمَوتِ شُغْل شَاغِل وَ عَنْ قَلِيْلِ أَنْتَ َاحلٌ وَ كُلُّ مَا قَدَّمْتَهُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَ الشَّرِّ حاصِلٌ بِلاَ زِيَادَةٍ وَ نُقْصانٍ وَ تَسْتَوفِي غَداً مَا كُنْتَ فَاعِلاً

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إِنَّ الْحَلَالَ لَبْسَ يَأتِيكَ إلَّا قَطْرَةَ قَطْرَة وَ الْحَرَامُ يَأتِيكَ كَالسَّيْلِ فَمَنْ صَفَا عيشُهُ صَفَا دِينُهُ

Chapter 34

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam! My angels are watching you night and day so that they may write against you what you say and do, be it little or much. My Heavens bear witness to everything you see. The earth bears witness for every action of yours that you’ve done on it. The sun and the moon and the stars are being witness against you, for whatever you say and do. Whatever is hidden in your heart, I know it very well. Don’t be negligent about yourself. Indeed, you will be caught in the claws of death. After a very short period of time, you will be marching (towards death). Whatever good or bad deeds you have brought forward, they will be there without any addition or subtraction. You shall be paid back for everything that you’ve done. O, Son of Adam!the lawful never comes to you but little by little, and the unlawful comes towards you like a flood. One who has cleansed his passions has cleansed his “deen ”( way of life).

الحديث الخامس والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! لَا تَفْرَحْ بالْغِنَاءِ فَلَيْسَ بِمُخَلَّدِ وَ لَا تَجْزَعْ مِنَ الفَقْرِ فليْس عَلَيْكَ حتماً، وَاجِبَاً وَ لَا تَقْنَطْ بِالْبَلَاءِ فَإِنَّ الذَّهَبَ يُجَرَّبُ بِالنَّارِ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَجَرَّبُ بِالْبِلاءِ فَإِنَّ الغَنِيَّ عَزِيزٌ في الآخِرَةِ إِنَّ الآخِرَةِ إِنَّ الآخِرَةَ أَبْقَى وَ أَبْهَى

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إذا رَأَيْتَ الضَّعِيْفَ عِنْدَك مَحْبُوساً أَكْثَرَ مِنْ تِسْعَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ غَضَبِ اللَّهِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! اَلْمَالُ مَالِي وَ أَنْتَ عَبْدِي وَ الضَّيْفُ رَسُولِي فَإنْ مَنَعْتَ مَالِي مِنْ رَسُولِي فَلَا تَطْمَعْ في جَنَّتي وَ نِعْمَتِي، يَا بْنَ آدَمَ، اَلْمالُ مَالِي مِنْ رَسُولِي فَلاَ تَطْمَعْ في جَنَّتي وَ نِعْمَتِي

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! اَلْمَالُ مَالِي وَ الأَغْنياءُ وَ كُلَائِي وَ الْفُقَرَاءُ عِيَالِي فَمَنْ بَخِلَ عَلى عِيَالِي أُدْخِلْهُ النّارَ وَ لَا أُبَالي

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! ثَلاثةٌ وَاجِبَاتٌ عَلَيْكَ زَكاةُ مَالِكَ وَصِلَةُ رَحِمِكَ وَ قِرَى ضَيْفِكَ فَإذَا لَمْ تَفْعَلْ مَا أَوْجَبْتُهُ عَلَيْكَ فَإنِّي أُجْزِعُكَ إِجْزَاعاً وَ أَجْعَلُكَ نَكَالاً لِلْعَالَمِينَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إِذا لَمْ تَرَ حَقَّ جَارِكَ كَما تَرَى حَقَّ عِيَالِكَ لَمْ أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ وَ لَمْ أَقْبَلْ عَمَلَكَ وَ لَمْ أَسْتَجِبْ دُعَاءَكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! لَا تَتَكَبَّرْ عَلى مِثْلِكَ فَإنَّ أَوَّلَكَ نُطْفَةٌ قَذِرَةٌ مِنْ مَنِيَّ مِنْ أَيَّ وَجْهٍ خَرَجْتَ مِنْ مَخْرَجِ الْبَوْلِ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَ التِّرَائِبِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! اذْكُرْ ذُلِّ مَوْقِفِكَ غَداً بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ فَإنِّي لَمْ أَغْفُلْ مِنْ سَرَائِرِكَ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَ إِنِّي عَلِيْمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدُورِ

Chapter 35

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!do not be pleased with your wealth; it won’t last forever. Do not become sad because of poverty; it is neither a burden nor is it incumbent upon you. Do not become hopeless because of calamities; indeed gold is tested by melting it in fire; likewise a believer is tested by calamities (Balaa ). Indeed, the wealthy are respected in this world and humiliated in the Hereafter. And the poor are humiliated in this world and respected in the Hereafter. Indeed, the Hereafter is prosperous and eternal.

O, Son of Adam! If you see your quest staying (due to circumstances) for more than nine day then you say:“ I seek refuge with Allah from His wrath”.

O, Son of Adam!the Wealth is Mine and you are My Servant and the quest is My Messenger. If you stop givingMy wealth to My Messenger, then do not desire My Heaven and My Sustenance.

O, Son of Adam!the Wealth is Mine and the rich are My Representatives and the poor are My Dependents. The one who is mean towards My Dependents I will make him enter into Hell and I will not care for him!

O, Son of Adam!three things are incumbent upon you from your wealth:Zakat (alms), kindness towards relatives, and respect for guests. If you don’t do what I have made incumbent upon you, indeed I will engulf you in fear and I will make you an example (Ibrat ) forAll mankind.

O, Son of Adam!if you don’t care for your neighbors as you care for your children, I will not see you, I will not accept your (good) deeds, and I will not accept your supplications.

O, Son of Adam!don’t be proud of the likes of you. Indeed, your beginning is from sperm which is unclean (Nagis ) and which is from flowing semen. It comes from between the back and the ribs (86:7).

O, Son of Adam!remember the time in which you will stand before Me humiliated. Indeed, I am not unaware of your secrets for even a blink of an eye. Indeed, I comprehend (the secrets) that are in theirhearts( 3:119).

الحديث السادس والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! كُنْ سَخِيّاً فَإنَّ السَّخَاءَ مِنْ حُسْنِ الْيَقِيْنِ وَ الْيَقِيْنُ مِنَ الْإيْمانِ وَ الْإِيْمانُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إِيَّاكَ وَ الْبُخْلَ فَإنَّ الْبُخْلَ مِنَ الكُفْرِ وَ الْكُفْر مِنَ النَّارِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! اتَّقوا مِنْ دَعْوَةِ الْمَظْلومِينَ فَإنَّها لَا يَحْجُبُها عَنِّي شَي‏ءٌ وَ لَوْ لَا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ الصَّفْحَ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ لَمَا ابْتَلَيْتُ آدَمَ بِالذَّنْبِ ثُمَّ رَدَدْتُهُ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! لَوْ لَا أَنَّ العَفْوَ أَحَبُّ شَي‏ءِ عِنْدِي لَمَا ابتَلَيْتُ أَحَداً بِالذَّنْبِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! أَعْطَيْتُكَ الْإِيمانَ وَ الْمَعْرِفَةَ عَنْ غَيْرِ سُؤالٍ وَ تَصَرُّعٍ فَكَيْفَ أَبْخَلُ عَلَيْكَ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ مَعَ سُؤالِكَ وَ تَضَرُّعِكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إِذَا اعْتَصَمَ لي عَبْدٌ هَدَيْتُهُ وَ إِذا تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيَّ كَفَيْتُهُ وَ إِذَا تَوَكَّلَ عَلى غَيْرِي قَطَعْتُهُ أَسْبَابَ السَّمَواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! لَا تَدَعْ صَلاَةَ الضُّحَى فَإنَّ لِمُصَلِّيهَا يَدْعُو مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! ضَيَّعْتَ أَمْري وَ رَكِبْتَ مَعْصِيَتي فَمَنِ الَّذِي يَمْنَعُكَ مِنْ عَذَابِي يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ

Chapter 36

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!be generous! Indeed, generosity is part of pure certainty and certainty is part of faith and faith is from Heaven.

O, Son of Adam!beware of being a miser! Indeed, miserliness is fromKufr ( disbelief) andKufr is from Hell.

O, Son of Adam!beware of the curse from the oppressed! Because nothing can prevent it from reachingMe . If I did not love to forgive, I would not have tested Adam and then sent him back to Heaven.

O, Son of Adam!if I did not love to forgive, I would not test My Servants with sins.

O, Son of Adam! I have given you faith and forgiveness without your asking and crying for it. Then how can I be mean by not giving you Heaven and forgiving you when you are seeking and crying for it (Heaven).

Oh, Son of Adam!if any of My servants holds fast unto Me, I will guide him. Whenever any of them trusts Me, I will make him sufficient. If he trusts others besides Me, I will cut him off from the Bounties of the Heavens and the earth.

O, Son of Adam!do not miss the morning prayer (Fajr ), because all the things on which the sun shines will pray for the one who performs the prayers.

O, Son of Adam!you have made all My Commands go in vain and you are ready to commit sins. Then who will protect you on the Day ofJudgement from My wrath?

الحديث السابع والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! أَحْسِنْ خُلْقَكَ مَعَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّكَ وَ حَبَّبْتُكَ في قُلُوبِ الصَّالِحِينَ وَ غَفَرْتُ ذَنْبَكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! ضَعْ يَدَكَ عَلى رَأْسِكَ فَما تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِكَ فَأحْبِبْ لِلْمُسْلِمينَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! لَا تَحْزَنْ عَلى مَا فَاتَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَ لَا تَفْرَحْ بِما أُوتِيتَ مِنْهَا فَإنَّ الدُّنْيَا اليَوْمَ لَكَ وَ غَداً لِغَيْرِكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! اطْلُبِ الْآخِرَةَ وَدَعِ الدُّنْيَا، فَإنَّ ذَرَّةً مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَ مَا فِيْهَا

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! أَنْتَ في طَلَبِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةُ في طَلَبِكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! تَهَيَّأ لِلْمَوتِ قَبْلَ وَرُودِكَ وَ لَوْ تَرَكَتُ الدُّنْيَا لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِي لَتَرَكْتُهَا لِلأنْبِيَاء حَتَّى يَدْعُوا عِبَادِي إِلَى طَاعَتِي

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! كَمْ مِنْ غَنِيّ قَدْ جَعَلَهُ الْمَوْتُ فَقِيراً، وَ كَمْ مِنْ ضَاحِكٍ قَدْ صَارَ بَاكِياً بِالْمَوْتِ؟ وَ كَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ بَسَطْتُ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا فَطَغَى وَ تَرَكَ طَاعَتِي حَتَّى مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ وَ دَخَلَ النَّارَ؟ وَ كَمْ مِنْ عَبْدٍ قَتَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ الدُّنْيَا فَصَبَرَ وَ مَاتَ وَ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ؟

Chapter 37

Almighty Allah says:

O, Son of Adam!behave with the people in good manners and I will love you. I will put your love in the hearts of pious people; and I will forgive your sins.

O, Son of Adam!put your hands on your head. Think: Whatever you like for yourself, like the same for others.

O, Son of Adam!do not be grieved over what you lose in this world. Do not be happy with what you gain from this world. Indeed, this world may be yours today, but tomorrow, it will be for others.

O, Son of Adam!seek Hereafter and leave this world, because an atom of the Hereafter is better for you than all this world and what it contains.

O, Son of Adam!be ready for death before it comes to you! If I wanted to give this world to any of My Servants, I would have given it to My Prophets, so they would call My Servants to My Obedience.

O, Son of Adam!how many wealthy people have been made poor by death?! How many laughing people have cried because of death?! How many of My Servants are those upon whom I have bestowed My Bounties in this world? But they exceeded all limits and stopped obeying (My Commands) till death over took them and put them into Hell. How many of My Servants are those upon whom I have bestowed My this world, but they still arepatient?They die and enter Heaven.

الحديث الثامن والثلاثون‏

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! إِذا أَصْبَحْتَ بَيْنَ نِعْمَتَيْنِ عَظِيْمَتَيْنِ لَا تَدْرِي أَيَّهُمَا أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَكَ ذُنُوبُكَ الالْمَسْتُورَةُ عَنِ النَّاسِ أَوِ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَ لَوْ عَلِمَ النَّاسُ مَا أَعْلَمُ مِنْكَ مَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ خَلْقِي وَ أَخْلِصْ عَمَلَكَ مِنَ الرِّيَاءِ وَ السُّمْعَةِ فَإنَّكَ عَبْدٌ ذَلِيْلٌ لِرَبِّ جَلِيْلٍ مَأمُورٌ لِأَمْرِهِ وَ تَزَوَّدْ فَإنَّكَ مُسَافِرٌ وَ لَا بُدَّ مِنَ الزَّادِ لِكُلِّ مُسَافِرٍ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! خَزَائِني لا تَنْفَدُ أَبَداً وَ يَمِيْني مَبْسُوطَةٌ بِالْعَطَايَا أَبَداً وَ بِقَدْرِ مَا تُنْفِقُ أُنْفِقُ عَلَيْكَ وَ بِقَدْرِ مَا تُمْسِكُ أُمْسِكُ عَلَيْكَ

يَا بْنَ آدَمَ!! خَوْفُ الْفَقْرِ سُوءُ الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَ مِنْ قِلَّةِ الْيَقِيْنِ تَبْخَلُ عَلى الْمَسَاكِيْنِ

يَابْنَ آدَمَ!! مَنْ أَهَمَّ لِلرِّزْقِ فَقَدْ شَكَّ في كِتَابِي وَ مَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْ أَنْبِيائِي فَقَدْ جَحَدَ رُبُوبِيَّتِي وَ مَنْ جَحَدَ رُبُوبِيَّتي أَكْبَبْتُهُ في النَّارِ عَلى وَجْهِهِ
